Join us for a taste of the Tour de Manc

As part of our commitment to our community we have started running taster rides to give riders a flavour of what’s in store on 2 May 2021.

Yep, that means hills.

Rain or shine, our organisers have been leading riders on social rides on some of the tastiest hills in Greater Manchester.  We’re following British Cycling guidance leading groups of up to six people. Join us. No-one is dropped. We ride together and the rides are chatty and friendly.

And then there are the hills.

Check out the rides on Facebook or message us if you don’t use it. Riders then sign up via Eventbrite so we can manage numbers. We’ve been running rides to Cheshire’s Brickworks on Tuesday evenings, rides up Werneth Low in Marple on Thursday evenings and weekend rides up Owd Betts and the Rake in Bury. We’ve not lost anyone yet. Some have walked up parts but all have got back on again.

No shame there.

This is part of our commitment to diversity and inclusivity – attracting riders who may be unsure about whether they could manage their first Tour de Manc.

Equally, they are great training rides and we will keep them up over the winter.
