The Circuit

Northern Quarter

The Quarter Manc was a new challenge we brought in for 2021, it’s 50Km long and continues to draw new cyclists who want an achievable challenge ride. It tackles a tough hills and will offer you one of the best views of Manchester and the Pennine hills. It misses the first part of the longer rides through South and East Manchester, instead heading straight out to Middleton and hitting the first hill on the way to Royton. After the tough climb up to Grains Bar, you join the Mad Manc riders down the descent to Denshaw. Here all four routes join and ride together as far as Owd Betts where Northern Quarter and Challenge rides swing down Ashworth Valley for home. Everyone on all four routes are together at the Norden Feed Station where you can enjoy some much needed re-fuelling and chat with the other riders.

You’ll have access to free photos of yourself on the course, free feed stations and you’ll get a great medal too. Test yourself here if you are new to Cycle Sportive events and see how long it takes.
