Tour de Manc welcomes ambassador Atchara Khonglim

Tour de Manc are delighted to introduce Atchara Khonglim as an ambassador for our sportive.

Atchara is helping to spread the word about our charity cycling events as we make our events more inclusive and try and encourage more diversity participation in our ride. The Tour de Manc team recognise that Atchara’s love of cycling and community spirit and connections will help us to talk more widely about our activities. Atchara is the founder of Tameside Women’s Community Cycling Group which encourages new or less confident female riders to enjoy their bikes. She runs regular sessions at Tameside track and will be a particularly strong guide for our sportive when we plan our family-friendly Tameside community Mini Manc in 2022.

Atchara is a Bikeability Instructor and a British Cycling Level 1 coach and has worked closely with British Cycling and Cycling UK as well as Active Tameside to launch her bike group. To find out more about Tameside Women’s Community Cycling Group, visit their website or find them on Facebook or Twitter.

Atchara is delighted to join the Tour de Manc team. “I am passionate about the community spirit cycling brings so being an ambassador for Tour de Manc will help the team encourage more people in Tameside to cycle, more people to fundraise and more happiness in our communities. I hope my presence will also encourage more diverse participation.”
