Tour de Manc unveils new 50km route for 2021!
Another excuse to get your trainers on and get training. Or to clip-in and ride off. We’ve added another route to the Tour de Manc cannon for 2021.
From this September riders will be able to choose between four challenging routes. They’ll start at the same place. And they’ll all be supporting great causes.
For those who are new to cycling challenges, we hope to welcome you onto our training rides and we encourage you to check out British Cycling’s From couch to 50km training programme. We’d give you the additional guidance to train on hills as you’ll be riding on them!
Sarah Galligan, diversity lead for the Tour de Manc said. “This is part of our commitment to making the Tour de Manc challenge as inclusive as possible and welcome people from across our diverse Greater Manchester community to ride our roads, enjoy our hills – without feeling you need to wear lycra or even ride a road bike!”
