Tour de Manc riders support beneficiaries N:Gage Life and Maggies

Thank you again to the riders of our 2020 Virtual Tour de Manc! Thanks to your hard yards in the saddle, in March 2021 we made donations to two impressive local charities: Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Engage and Maggies cancer centre in Manchester as well as CIC N:Gage Life in Stockport.

Thanks to our donation of £7,500, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital was able to purchase two state of the art gantry hoists which will provide patients with Cerebral Palsy, muscular dystrophy and complex multiple traumatic injuries with mobility and handling support.

We made a donation of £1500 to N:Gage Life in Stockport; a community interest company  which supports youths who are at risk of entering the youth justice system, and a further donation of £1,000 to Maggies, which provides cancer care in its joyous centre.

All charities thanked our riders. A spokesperson from Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital said, “Thank you, thank you, thank you! It’s been such a touch time for charities and your donors will directly change the lives of 1,300 children and their families every year.”

If you support a charity with beneficiaries in the Greater Manchester area and would like to be considered as a partner and beneficiary, we’d love to hear from you.
