This is a tough challenge for the fit occasional rider. This route is not a flat procession, but an achievable challenge, which you will enjoy. We had incredible feedback from the 2017, 2018 and 2019 event and we are sure we will see many of those riders back again in 2020. Why not take a look at our Gallery page and facebook reviews ! They are #epic
The Half Manc is 62 miles / 100km long and shares the first 50 Miles of the Full Manc Route. The Half Manc also starts and finishes at the David Lloyd Manchester North Club – who have generously donated the use of their club facilities and are providing great support.
It takes an anti-clockwise circuit of Greater Manchester and has around 5000 ft of climbing to tackle. There are a number of closed road or restricted access sections including the King/Queen of the mountain prize section, which tackles the lung-busting Werneth Low.
The Tour de Manc® is not all about the fastest and this is not a race – we award spot prizes for grit and determination.
The 2019 route is similar to last year’s route, however the 2020 route may be subject to change – we will post a final route via Strava when we have completed the safety drives and had confirmation from the GM Councils.
Price: £36 + booking fee
The 2019 route is below, however the 2020 route may be subject to change – we will post an update before the ticketing opens.
