In 2018, Tour de Manc and Maggie’s Manchester put on a corporate event to support the incredible work of Maggie’s Manchester ….. and what a great event it proved to be.
On 27th June 2019, we will be bringing Manchester’s biggest businesses together again for a night of live music, food, drink, dance…and some seriously exciting cycling.
Race on the famous Velodrome track, enjoying a pre-race training session with professional cyclists. Then gear up to test your speed and strength in a race to complete the fastest laps around the world’s most iconic cycling track. Make it into the top eight, and you’ll be down to the final rounds to compete prizes… we have category prizes for ‘best of the rest’ Novices and a cup Accredited riders, so are you up fer it?
Supportive spectator more your thing? Cheer on your mates and colleagues whilst soaking up the festival feel at the home of British cycling. Back by popular demand are Mr Wilson’s Second Liners and we’ll have another Madchester DJ who performing on the night.
The event will be hosted by Northern Joker Justin Moorhouse with auctioneer Nick “Hoppy” Hopkinson MBE, a liver cancer survivor and supporter of Maggies. The evening will again feature welcome cocktails courtesy of The Alchemist, free award-winning beer courtesy of Brightside Brewery and a great spread of festival food. So it promises to be a night not to be missed! The auction items are a more than a bit tasty … the kind money can’t normally buy at any price …but here’s your chance !
As with last year, you can choose to buy a table for 10 with or without a rider. Riders will benefit from a training session with world-class professional cyclist Richard Lang and a commemorative cycling jersey. Plus, the chance to cycle the Velodrome in front of a cheering crowd!
A table of ten will be £1,200 plus VAT or limited individual seats are available for £120 plus VAT on a shared table.
