2018 brings you the newest and most exciting event in the Tour de Manc programme. Welcome to the X-Manc. This event hosts Cyclocross racing as well as providing spectators of all ages a great spectacle, hospitality experience and an enjoyable atmosphere.

X-Manc Cyclocross racing

This event caters for the experienced Cyclocross riders and novice/newbies willing to give Cyclocross a go. The race day itself will contain 6 different categories, consisting of Youths (up to 15 years of age), Juniors (16-18 years of age), Vets (40+), Novices (first timers willing to give it a go), as well as the standard Men’s and Females (18-40 years of age) races. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

However this event shows off the strength and community of Manchester, and tackling the race with Manc drive and determination is seen as a bigger accomplishment in our eyes! X-Manc Food, Beer and Music Festival

In conjunction with the Cyclocross event, there will be a food and beer festival to satisfy those who seek to indulge in the best local food and beer Manchester has to offer. So whilst the racing is going on in front of you (literally!) and the music plays, we will be hosting an exclusive Beer Festival, with award winning local Manchester breweries providing unique and high quality beers. So if you’re gaggin’ for an ice cold beer or you just want to eat some proper mint food. Then come along and experience what Tour de Manc X-Manc has to offer – Be part of a real strong community. The festival will also comprise a selection of alternative beverages (for all), a gin bar(18+) and of course the great beers. We will also have a number of food providers, serving some fantastic local food.

So, enjoy cheering on the riders and indulge in some of Manchester best foods and guzzle down our bespoke Tour De Manc beers. We promise you a unique and enjoyable day out for all. Entry is free although there will be a small car park charge (#allforcharity). Please bring a designated driver as you can’t drink and drive – we are currently looking at putting on a shuttle bus to the nearest Metrolink station (Bowker Vale on the Manchester-Bury Metrolink route) and details will be posted here in due course.

Every-Manc #Inclusive ride

We have a parallel event running for riders with disabilities, running at the same venue. Adapted bikes and supervision will be provided, so that the day can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of ability. Should you be interested in reserving a place for the Every-Manc ride, please email your contact details to us at register@gmail.com
